Ethernet Switch Installation Instructions:

- Plug the Dynex Fast Ethernet Switch power adapter into the back of the device and connect the other end into a power strip or wall outlet. Red power light should appear.

- Connect the UTP Cat 5 into the rear of the Ethernet switch.

- The other end of this UTP Cat 5 should connect to the Internet port on the wall. A green light will appear on the front side of the Ethernet switch to show an active connection.

- Plug power cords from the three desktop computers into the power strip. Turn the computers on.

- With the remaining three UTP CAT 5 cables, connect one end of the cord into a port on the rear of the Ethernet Switch.

- The other end of each cord should be plugged into the Ethernet port on the three different computers.

- An active network connection should be made.
